The decision on the Coal Mine has been postponed due to the “unprecedented numbers of representations being received on this application, including some received after the Consultation deadline and some that have contained new evidence“. So the case won’t go to the 8th July DC&R Committee…..
The Council has sent us an email and also says “in order to properly consider all representations and documentation received” they “will now look to provide an alternative date“.
Don’t get too excited, but we do have more time to develop a 2-3 page summary of SLACC’s case that we can circulate to Councillors, and to organise a few Zoom discussions with allies about tactics.
