After our SLACCtt presentation to Dent WI earlier this year they are offering an open online presentation by Dr Sophie Lake on Climate Calamity. If you are interested please contact Jackie Fisher directly (see below) as there may be some places for those living outside the Dale.
Dentdale WI is having a zoom meeting on 9th September at 19.30 at which Dr Sophie Lake (Bill and Judy’s daughter) has kindly agreed to give us a talk entitled Climate Calamity. Sophie is a senior ecologist with a particular interest in habitat conservation and has written books on related subjects. As this is a subject of real relevance to all of us, we want to extend the invitation to anyone in Dentdale who would wish to hear Sophie’s talk. If anyone is interested, please could they email jackieafisher1@gmail.com before the 5th September after which she will send out a link ready for the Zoom meeting on the 9th. If you have any particular questions you would like addressed please can you also email them to Jackie before the 5th September or use the chat function in zoom at the time.
