Helen and her partner Adam graze sheep in the orchards, meadows and pastures around Halecat in Witherslack. We use the fleece daggings to mulch the apple trees and fruit bushes. This year, they are being offered so little for the fleeces from the wool marketing board that they are looking for alternative options for selling the fleeces.
