Gove Approves the Coal Mine

Sadly Michael Gove has approved the coal mine.

A brief scan of the combined Inspector’s Report and Michael Gove’s decision is deeply depressing. A detailed analysis will need to be done carefully, but it appears that Gove assumes that the number of blast furnaces in the UK will not reduce, and continued use of coking coal on the UK and EU will rely on the use of Carbon Capture and Storage.

Our legal team will let us know what conclusions can be drawn, and whether there are reasonable grounds for a legal challenge , i.e Judicial Review.
