South Lakes Action on Climate Change (SLACC) is reminding Michael Gove MP, the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities of the strong public concern regarding the proposed Cumbria coalmine. This comes as Gove last week received the recommendations of the Planning Inspectorate which held a public inquiry into the opening of the mine, last year (Tuesday 7 September to Friday 1 October). He has until July 7th to issue his decision.
